A church was originally built for the mill workers of Dolphinholme but lasted for only 60 years. It was replaced by the current church, designed by the famous architects Austin and Paley, in the 14th century Gothic style, and consecrated on the same site in 1899. The design of the church is enhanced by the quality of the light entering through its clear windows, reflecting the simple beauty of the church. The churchyard, which has been recently extended, delights the eye with crocuses and daffodils each spring. A warm welcome is extended to all who visit this beautiful church.

Dolphinholme School
Our Vicar, Cindy, is Chair of Governors at Dolphinholme CE primary School, with whom we enjoy a very good relationship.
This is an outdoor all-age congregation that meets once a month, usually on a Saturday. We aim to learn more about the wonder and beauty of God’s Creation through practical activities. Sessions often end with a mug of hot chocolate!
