Are you picturing a fairy-tale wedding in a beautiful setting? Did you know that if you live in one of the parishes of the Benefice then you can marry at one of our churches whether you regularly attend church or not? We LOVE doing weddings so, whether you’re a local or not, then please contact the Vicar to discuss the possibility of marrying in one of our beautiful churches. (Please note that the Church of England has rules about who can and can’t marry in a church but please DO ask and the Vicar will be happy to advise you.)
What's The Cost?
It may also help you to have some idea of the costs of marrying in the Benefice. The statutory fees are set by the Church of England in January of each year and the additional fees are set by our PCCs, so if you are marrying in the next couple of years then there may be a slight variation to what is shown but at least it’s a guide!
Statutory Fees
Publication of banns – £30
Marriage service – £455
Certificate of banns – £14 (Required when service is outside the Benefice)
Marriage certificate – £11 (Subsequent copies £10)
